Privacy notice
Plain-language summary of how this research survey handles your answers.
What we store
- Your answers to the questions you choose to answer.
- The survey version you answered (so we know which wording you saw).
- The submission time, rounded down to the hour.
- The language you used, and a general campaign tag if you arrived from a shared survey link (for example “radio-accra”). The tag is the same for everyone using that link.
- A random code created in your browser for this one submission, used only to stop the same response being saved twice if you press Submit more than once. It is not linked to you or your device.
- For the price questions, which of three hypothetical price levels you were shown (chosen at random).
What we never ask for or store
- No name, email, phone number, address or organization name.
- No account or login.
- The app does not save your IP address, browser details, device fingerprint, precise location (GPS) or which site you came from.
- No marketing sign-up. We will not contact you.
Being honest about anonymity
The app itself is built not to collect identifying information. However, like any website, the hosting and network providers that deliver these pages may keep short-term technical logs (such as IP addresses) for security and operations. These logs are not linked to your answers by us. Please don’t type personal details into the optional text boxes — if you do, we may remove them.
Your progress
While you fill in the survey, your answers are kept only in this browser tab so that a page refresh does not lose them. They are deleted when you close the tab or submit. Nothing is sent to us until you press Submit.
How answers are used
Answers are combined with others and analysed in groups to understand connectivity needs, costs and preferences. Only authorised researchers can read the stored responses. Results are not a census and do not represent everyone in a country.
Taking part is voluntary
You can skip optional questions or close the page at any time. Because responses are anonymous, we cannot find and delete one specific person’s response after it is submitted.
